Lois McMaster Bujold

Lois McMaster Bujold is one of those authors whose books I read for the first time and instantly loved. Whether she’s writing about Barrayar or Chalion, her characters are flawed, wonderful and compelling. She writes the kind of character-based science fiction that works for me, and the kind of historical fantasy that I could read forever.
